Photonic-Electronic Material Laboratory(PEML) Introduction
Photonic-Electronic Material Laboratory(PEML) is a research group by Donghwan Ahn, professor of Materials Science & Engineering at Kookmin University(KMU).
PEML explores silicon-based advanced photonics and electronics that promote the convergence of electronics and optical devices to produce integrated solution for the next generation.
Our focus is silicon materials processing and device engineering for the micron and sub-micron scale device elements for integration with circuit systems. Primary application includes telecommunications, computation, imaging system, advanced display applications.
