Integrity Advisory Board Rules
Article 1. [Purpose]
The purpose of this regulation is to stipulate matters related to the composition and operation of the Integrity Advisory Committee established to prevent members of Kookmin University from illegal solicitation and receipt of money and other things and to deal with cases in accordance with the Act on the Prohibition of Illegal Solicitation and Receipt of Money and Other Things and the Enforcement Decree of the same Act.
Article 2. [Composition]
① The committee shall be composed of the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Vice President for General Affairs, the Vice President for Planning, the Director of the Legal Counseling Center, and the Head of the General Affairs Team. <Revised 2017.02.01.>
② The chairperson shall be the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
③ The term of office of each member, except for ex officio members, shall be one year, but may be reappointed.
④ There may be a secretary for the operation of the committee, and the secretary shall be appointed by the president.
Article 3. [Functions]
The Committee shall review the following matters.
1. Matters related to disclosure of improper solicitation.
2. Matters relating to the handling of reports and actions regarding improper solicitation and prohibited gifts and payments.
3. Matters relating to the recommendation of recipients of reward payments.
4. Other matters deemed necessary by the President.
Article 4. [Convening of meetings, etc.]
Meetings shall be convened by the Chairperson when deemed necessary for the handling of matters under Article 3. However, if the chairperson does not convene a meeting or there is an unavoidable reason, the committee may convene a meeting with the consent of 1/3 or more members.
② Matters concerning the handling of cases of improper solicitation and bribery shall be decided by a majority of the members present and a majority of the members voting.
Meetings shall be closed to the public.
Article 5. [Confidentiality]
The members of the committee shall keep the contents of the meeting confidential.
Article Article 6. [Guidelines]
The Committee may issue separate guidelines on matters necessary to implement these rules.
Effective Date
These Rules shall be effective as of September 28, 2016.
Amendment
These amendments shall take effect on February 1, 2017.
