Dr. Sanghoon Jeon received his PhD in the School of Cybersecurity from Korea University in 2023. He received an MS degree in software engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, in 2011 and a BS degree in computer science from Korea University. His research interests include automotive cybersecurity and data-driven vulnerability/malware detection.

 He has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Automobile and IT Convergence at Kookmin University, since 2023. Before joining Kookmin University, he had been a software and security engineer at Samsung Electronics from Jul. 2006 to Feb. 2023. During his work experience, he has developed various embedded software such as flash storage firmware, IoT security solutions, and automotive security solutions. He wants to contribute to solving various real-world security problems, such as car driving and embedded device, using his research results.
