During the summer vacation, there was a special lecture on portfolio conducted by working alumni and a special lecture on statistical analysis conducted by Professor Myung-Heum Yeon. First, the portfolio special lecture will be held about 5 times from July to August. It was divided into product and UX / UI divisions. About 30 students from the Department of Industrial Design participated. Special lectures in the product section were conducted by Kyu-Dae Lee and Jun-Goo Koo, who are working at Samsung Electronics, and the special lectures in the UX/UI section were conducted by Tae-Nim Jeon, who is currently working at NAVER, and Seong-Gon Jin, who is working at 우아한 형제들. This special lecture was of great help to high school students in the 3rd and 4th grade who are having difficulties in the core and creation of portfolios. Also, there was a special lecture on statistical analysis conducted by Professor Myung-Heum Yeon. The students are Kim Seon-ho, Kim Ye-jin, Kim Yu-jin, Shin Chan-hee, Lee Ji-won, Jang Hyeon-soo, Park Jae-ryeong, Ha Bo-ram, Kim Do-hee, Choi Seo-jin (TED graduate students) It consisted of a total of 10 people and was held for a total of 5 days from July 1st to 7th. I would like to express my gratitude once again to the professors and alumni who worked hard during the hot vacation, and send strong support to the current students who conducted the special lecture during the vacation. Let's cheer for the second semester so that everyone can spend the semester healthy and rewarding!

Department of Industrial Design, Room 314, which is currently being used due to the negligence of the third year, has been renewed during this summer vacation! 314 renewal project jointly conducted by the Department of Industrial Design and the Industrial Design Student Council, It was planned by Professor Yeon Myung-heum and constructed by Professor Nam Won-seok and assistant professor Cheol-hoon Cheon, 4 working students (3rd grader Haechan Ryu, 3rd grader Seo Jeongwoong, 2nd grader Dongheon Kang, and 2nd grader Jeseok Pung). I would like to express my gratitude to the professors of the department who planned and worked hard together, I would also like to express my gratitude to the teaching assistants and students who worked hard during the hot summer. Although the use of negligence is currently prohibited under the 4th step of distancing guidelines, I hope that in the future, students will be able to carry on their studies more freely and creatively with pleasant fruits.
