 Kookmin University operates the Department of Climate Technology Convergence as an interdisciplinary program, with master's and doctoral programs.

 The Department of Climate Technology Convergence is designed to provide students with the theoretical and practical skills to develop carbon convergence element technologies based on renewable energy, especially bio-resources, which is a key field in the transition to a carbon-neutral society to address the severity of climate change recognized worldwide, and to design them to be utilized at the public policy level. The Department of Climate Technology Convergence aims to cultivate advanced talents who will lead the carbon-neutral era through convergence education between related fields such as forest resources, carbon sink management, climate technology design policy, bio-environmental materials technology, and energy convergence technology under the theme of bio-energy technology, which is one of the solutions for climate change response and mitigation.
